Joining the team is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world and hands-on experience in an annual 10-K and proxy filing with the SEC for a fortune 500 company.

What you'll do
  • Assist in the preparation of our annual financial reports.
  • Support the team in ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • Perform variance analysis.
  • Help gather and organize data for audits and regulatory filings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (investor relations, treasury, tax, and corporate financial planning and analysis) to resolve reporting issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the reporting function.
  • Additional project work in our broader corporate accounting space, as needed/assigned.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced professionals.
  • Obtain exposure to real-world financial processes and compliance standards.
  • Leverage tools, such as artificial intelligence, to improve processes.
Who we're looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Reporting/Corporate AccountingIntern to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role offers hands-on experience in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis within a dynamic multi-national corporate environment. You will work closely with senior accounting professionals to support the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.

Preferred qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
