Job DescriptionThe Stewardship and Donor Relations Manager is responsible for managing, developing, implementing, and continuously improving a comprehensive stewardship program for The TSTC Foundation. This role oversees statewide stewardship efforts across all campuses, including donor communications, recognition, naming opportunities, endowment reporting and compliance, scholarship stewardship, employee giving, and customized major donor engagement. The position ensures consistent, high-quality donor experiences that strengthen relationships, support retention, and reinforce donor impact aligned with TSTC's mission. Essential Functions

Employee will demonstrate TSTC's Core Values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students, and community members.

Stewardship Program Management

Manage and continuously improve a comprehensive stewardship plan serving multiple donor segments, ensuring consistent recognition, reporting, and engagement across all campuses.

Donor Communications and Reporting

Develop and implement annual impact reporting, including endowment reports, broad-based impact reports, and customized major donor reports that clearly communicate donor impact and institutional outcomes.

Donor Engagement and Recognition

Plan and coordinate donor engagement opportunities across TSTC regions to strengthen donor relationships and increase engagement with the college and its mission.

Foundation Communications

Oversee planning and development of The TSTC Foundation's annual report in collaboration with strategic partners across the institution.

Digital Strategy and Storytelling

Develop and manage a donor-focused communication strategy, including planning and scheduling content to highlight donor impact through digital channels.

Data and Systems Integration

Integrate stewardship and donor engagement tracking within Salesforce Nonprofit to ensure accurate data, reporting consistency, and actionable insights.

Metrics and Retention

Develop and track donor engagement metrics to support donor retention goals and continuous improvement of stewardship strategies.

Employee Giving

Plan, manage, and execute the statewide Employee Giving Campaign, coordinating engagement, communications, and reporting.

Education & Experience Required Qualifications

Associate's degree required.
Three years of experience in marketing and communications or nonprofit fundraising.

Three years of experience managing social media or digital communications.

Two years of experience in higher education advancement, specifically donor relations or operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Four years of experience in marketing and communications or nonprofit fundraising.

Four years of experience managing social media or digital communications.

Three years of experience in higher education advancement, specifically donor relations or operations.

Experience with advancement CRMs and platforms, gift processing, data management, prospect research, and fundraising analytics preferred.

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, except in cases where a specific degree is required to meet accreditation standards, licensure requirements, or other legislative or regulatory obligations. This includes, but is not limited to, certain faculty positions and staff roles governed by state or federal educational mandates.

Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
Ability to analyze donor engagement data and translate insights into action.
Ability to use Salesforce Nonprofit and related systems to track engagement and stewardship activity.
Ability to apply fundraising principles including major gifts, planned giving, grants, and special events.
Ability to use digital platforms and tools to communicate donor impact effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive donor information.
