Drive Programs Forward - Program Management Analyst

Step into a high-visibility role supporting complex automotive product programs inside a globally recognized engineering and manufacturing environment. We are seeking one experienced Program Management Analyst to coordinate project execution, align cross-functional teams, and ensure program milestones are achieved efficiently. In this hybrid position, you will support program managers, guide supplier activities, and keep large-scale model year plans on track within a fast-moving matrix organization.

Hours & Pay

Hybrid schedule - 4 days onsite at the Dearborn PDC

$36.36 per hour

About the Role

You will serve as a central connection point between engineering, purchasing, supplier teams, and leadership, ensuring project timelines, tooling readiness, and production deliverables remain aligned. This role requires independent decision-making, proactive communication, and strong familiarity with APQP and automotive program processes.

Daily Responsibilities



  • Interface between STA, Product Development, Purchasing, and the supply base for production tool kickoff
  • Conduct meetings with suppliers and coordinate program expectations
  • Populate and maintain program tracking documentation
  • Lead APQP activities and ensure milestone compliance
  • Provide weekly status updates to leadership including:

    • Program milestones
    • Tool orders
    • Ok-to-Design / Cast / Cut approvals
    • Part pedigree and delivery status (DCV and PCF/TCB)


  • Identify non-conforming events and implement recovery or corrective action plans
  • Develop documented processes supporting supplier production tooling programs
  • Direct cross-functional teams to maintain timing alignment
  • Support program managers and analysts to ensure effective project delivery
  • Resolve issues and escalate appropriately when required



Requirements & Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of Program Management Analyst experience
  • 3+ years supporting automotive OEM programs
  • Strong knowledge of APQP processes and program launch readiness
  • Experience managing project management software deployments
  • Ability to lead organizational alignment and guide supplier staff
  • Comfortable working with upper-level leadership
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and model year integration simultaneously
  • Works effectively with minimal supervision in a matrix organization


Preferred Skills



  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • PPAP processes knowledge
