As an Operations Project Manager, within Service Operations, you will lead transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and streamline business processes across Comfort Medical. This role combines strong project management expertise with an understanding of healthcare operations to bridge frontline service teams needs with process and system improvements, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact on the teams we support.

You will manage end-to-end project delivery for operational improvement initiatives -including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and change management. You will influence and coordinate diverse teams through strong communication, collaboration and operational knowledge. Working closely with IT, Process Excellence, Order-to-Cash teams, and senior leadership across Comfort Medical and Coloplast, you will ensure projects align with strategic business goals and deliver measurable results while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.

Major Areas of Accountability





  • Lead large scale operational improvement efforts focused on business process optimization, including coordinating of technology adoption that support frontline teams. .
  • Manage multiple improvement projects concurrently through the full project lifecycle from planning, development, launch, monitoring, and debrief facilitation to close out.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, and risk assessments.
  • Create and maintain required project documentation and artifacts
  • Lead cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, operational leaders, IT partners, developers, and vendors to achieve project objectives within defined constraints
  • Serve as liaison between operations teams and IT teams, clearly communicating business needs so that technology partners can deliver effective solutions.
  • Track and report project progress to stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, business requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business and technical requirements for process improvements and system implementations.
  • Document business requirements clearly so that IT and development partners can build or configure solutions that meet operational needs.
  • Validate requirements through reviews and approvals and ensure requirements traceability through the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements are met before go-live.
  • Lead process mapping sessions to document current and future state workflows using standard methodologies (e.g. swimlane diagrams, value steam maps).
  • Analyze existing business processes and supporting systems to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with service teams to design optimized workflows that leverage technology capabilities, enhance productivity, and drive improved revenue outcomes
  • Leverage data analytics to track project metrics, demonstrate ROI, and support data-driven decision making.
  • Support post-implementation stabilization by monitoring adoption, tracking issues, and coordinating resolutions with IT and vendor partners.
  • Serve as a change agent to drive process improvements and technology adoption across the organization




  • Assure all processes, SOPs, and tools are in compliance with our HIPAA privacy standards, all state and local laws, our Accrediting agency, OSHA, Medicare/Medicaid, Third-Party and private payor guidelines.
  • Comfort Medical employees are required to conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards; comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight - up to 15%
  • Other job duties as assigned




Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management within operations, healthcare or similar environment. Experience coordinating with IT teams on system implementations is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering operational improvement projects from initiation through closure with demonstrated business impact.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to drive user adoption and change management for new processes, systems or technologies
  • Proven expertise in process mapping and modeling techniques
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM)
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements from operational stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills with process mapping and project management tools (e.g. Visio, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with focus on measurable outcomes
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities



Preferred Qualifications



  • PMP, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or
  • Experience with Automation, AI or Digital Transformation solutions that improve operational workflows
  • Healthcare operations experience, particularly DMEPOS, revenue cycle management or order to cash operations
  • Experience with Brightree System
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to support project metrics and decision-making


  • Experience supporting operational teams through process change and system adoption

  • Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $88,413 - $132,620. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
