The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Facilities Site Manager to support our government customer in Ft. Detrick, MD.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Facility Maintenance.

  • Responsible for continual readiness of the test facility physical assets and grounds, office complex, and test assets to support AFMS and joint operational test events.

  • Provides maintenance for electrical systems, electrical controls.

  • Performs equipment operation, equipment monitoring, equipment maintenance and repair, equipment/systems trouble shooting, equipment and infrastructure upgrades, and special projects.

  • Primary forklift, bobcat, and UTV operation and maintenance.

  • Receives freight deliveries.

  • Prepares and loads freight for shipping and prepares associated documents.

  • Generates work orders for Government submittal to the Army Maintenance website.

  • Provides maintenance on security gates and cameras.

  • Maintains deployable test assets for operational use.

  • Assists with inventories and pack-out activities.

  • Assists with inventories and functional checks of equipment upon return of assets post-test.

  • Conducts site power load management and provides a monthly power report to leadership.

  • Supports and maintains the field site properly periodic lifting and moving of items that potentially could weigh 60-80lbs (e.g., sandbags that secure shelters).

  • Ad-Hoc travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).

  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Must have a minimum high school diploma.

  • Must possess a valid State Issued Motor Vehicle operator's license.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general mechanical experience.

  • Must possess forklift, bobcat, and UTV operator and user maintenance qualifications.

  • Must possess and demonstrate basic computer skills and an ability to read and understand parts diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer instructions, wire schematics and ladder diagrams.

  • Must possess mechanical skills with general knowledge and ability to use hand tools, power tools, metal fabrication/welding, electrical and HVAC equipment and general plumbing.

  • Must demonstrate an ability to operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot light industrial mechanical machinery.

  • Must demonstrate an ability to maintain, repair and troubleshoot material handling equipment such as forklifts, generators, utility vehicles.

  • Must have functional knowledge and experience using the National Electric Code and understand basic electrical components such as capacitors; relays; switches; programmable logic controllers and contacts.

  • Must be able to identify faulty components.

  • Must be able to install and modify electrical systems and components.

  • Must have a general knowledge of military 208 VAC/60Hz, 3 phased power is required.

  • Must be able to lift sixty (60) to eighty (80) pounds.

  • Must be willing and able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).

  • Must be willing and able to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - Born or Naturalized (Green Card and VISA holders not eligible.)

  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
