The Director of Client Experience Product owns the client experience strategy for the fund and investor solutions platform, which encompasses performance and accounting products, ensuring these capabilities deliver a unified, intuitive, and insight-rich experience. This role will also partner across the organization (platforms, digital, data and service channels) to ensure that products and services for asset owners align with the same experience principles, and desired outcomes for the asset owner client segment even when delivered outside the core product suite of FIS. Core Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end client experience strategy for asset owners across the fund and investor solutions platform, with a focus on performance and accounting workflows.
- Ensure tight alignment across performance, accounting, and investor-level capabilities, creating a coherent experience that supports asset-owner oversight, governance, and reporting needs.
- Influence and coordinate non-platform services (e.g., advisory, operations, servicing) so they reinforce the same client-experience standards and integrate smoothly with platform-based interactions.
- Lead cross-functional product teams and partner with engineering, design, data, operations, and distribution to deliver scalable, high-quality client-facing solutions.
- Engage directly with senior institutional clients to understand evolving needs and translate them into actionable product direction across performance, accounting, and investor-level experiences.
- Establish and govern experience standards that ensure consistency across platform and non-platform touchpoints.
- Use data and insights to measure experience health, identify friction across performance and accounting workflows, and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion the voice of the client at the executive level, influencing prioritization, investment decisions, and cross-platform integration.
Key Skills & Capabilities
- Deep expertise in asset-owner workflows, including governance, oversight, performance measurement, accounting, and investor-level reporting.
- Product leadership with experience shaping multi-domain product strategies and driving alignment across complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of fund and investor solutions, and how performance and accounting capabilities shape the client experience.
- Ability to influence non-platform services, ensuring consistency in experience even when delivery sits outside the core product suite.
- Exceptional stakeholder influence, aligning product, engineering, data, operations, and distribution around a unified experience vision.
- Experience-design leadership, with the ability to simplify complex institutional processes through journey mapping and service design.
- Strategic problem-solving, balancing client needs, technical feasibility, regulatory considerations, and business outcomes.
- Comfort leading through ambiguity, setting clear direction and driving cross-platform cohesion.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- 10-12 plus years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery with proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.
- Prior experience working with asset owner clients preferred.
- A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams, and/or working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders and product development teams.
- High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development.
