Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Systems, Process & Analytics (L3)

The Role:

Our site in Hillsboro is seeking a Supply Chain Production Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and contributing to overall operational excellence. This role will collaborate with various teams to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.

What You'll Do:

  • Collects data regarding operational capabilities, processes, systems and constrains to apply to the production schedule and supply plan.

  • Utilizes an understanding of the unique characteristics of each category, product, product classification, factory and geography to develop a supply plan.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly supply plan and capacity plan.

  • Monitors manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (On time performance and backlog)

  • Works with process gates and dates, understands product lead times appropriately and impact on the production plan and related functions.

  • Works with partners to develop an overall supply plan and converts into a production schedule.

  • Must understand forward and backward leveling of supply to fulfill the demand.

  • Incorporates key bottleneck component items and constraints into the supply plan and schedules production to meet customer demand on time.

  • Identifies long term supply and demand challenges and devises appropriate strategies to lead the team towards achieving the goals.

  • Analyzes inventory levels, sales orders, sales forecasts, and manufacturing capacity to build and implement a weekly production schedule.

  • Manage FG inventory levels to ensure customer service levels are maintained while meeting overall company objectives and inventory turn targets. Supervise aging and on-hold inventory to drive resolution and consumption.

  • Coordinate and oversee the engineering/R&D support process. Balance production needs with project requests to develop a support schedule. Ensure that all project requests are well planned to avoid unnecessary production delays.

What We Seek:

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, factory planning, or manufacturing operations experience or BS/BA in Supply Chain and/or Business

  • Sophisticated knowledge of inventory control & forecasting

  • Skilled in managing complex scheduling processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of best logistics practices

  • Understanding of ABC analysis

  • Team orientated, analytical, proactive, with a strong ability to execute.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with ERP systems.

  • Experience with MES software.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • MRP experience preferred.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience with SAP ERP

  • Experience with MES software implementation

  • Experience with Power BI

  • The ability to build and foster relationships with business partners and collaboration through influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Project management skills coupled with a Supply Chain business background with a track record of leading and delivering complex projects through multi-disciplinary, matrixed cross- geo teams and partnerships.
