Position Title: Shipping
Wage: $19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Shipping professional with hands-on experience in warehouse and distribution environments. The ideal candidate is skilled in picking, packing, and shipping customer orders accurately and on time, preparing labels and documentation, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely deliveries. Known for strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings. This is an associate to hire opportunity for a company in Edgerton, KS. Shipping Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to company standards - Verify product quantities and quality before shipment - Prepare shipping labels, invoices, and other required documentation - Work with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery - Maintain a clean and organized shipping area - Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed - Follow safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment Shipping Requirements: - Previous experience in shipping, warehousing, or distribution preferred - Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods - Frequent pushing, pulling, and stooping - Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures - Comfortable with repetitive hand and arm movements - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
