POSITION SUMMARY: The Division of Student Life: Women's Resources and Action Center is seeking a Temporary Administrative Services Coordinator to act as the first point of contact at Bowman House and provide a welcoming atmosphere to program participants.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

- Serve as first point of contact (phone, email, in person) for campus community members seeking information, assistance, and/or support

- Provide compassionate and caring response to those in distress

- Provide a warm and welcoming presence to visitors

- Service users, and program participants

- Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of personal information received or observed

- Respond promptly to inquiries and messages, consulting with and/or referring to full-time staff members appropriately

- Provide support to programming staff with logistics, and related needs for their work

POSITION BASICS:

Hourly Rate: $22.00 an hour

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 1:30 to 5:00 pm, plus occasional morning weekdays as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related education and experience

- Experience in office administration/management and knowledge of basic office routines and functions

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications use

- Training and experience in responding to individuals in distress, including trauma-informed response

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience maintaining student, patient, client, or other confidential information and records

- Ability to work collaboratively

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Training and experience in responding to individuals in distress, including trauma-informed response

- Familiarity / experience with basic UI administrative processes and procedures
