About the Role

As a Production Lead, you'll oversee shift operations and lead a team of production employees to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals. You'll ensure proper training, enforce company policies, and maintain strong communication across departments to keep everything running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure compliance with all personal and product safety, Food Safety Plan, housekeeping, GMPs, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Monitoring of production line and employees.
• Assisting when needed.
• Checking raw material inventories for schedule.
• Holding weekly tailgate meetings.
• Covering for employee breaks.
• Working closely with other departments.
• Monitoring cleanup of production lines.
• Report any mechanical issues to Supervisor or Maintenance.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency on all machines on the line they are assigned.

• Follow production schedule and check for changes with scheduler.
• Assist employees with machines when in need and for breaks.
• Check raw materials with schedule to make sure of adequate supply.
• Hold weekly tailgate meetings and report findings to supervisors.
• Notify supervisors of any operational or safety problems.
• Keep production flowing smoothly.

You'll Bring:

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot all machines.
• Must exhibit leadership and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires basic math skills.
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
