Our client has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a CNC Programming Engineer with a solid background in NC programming who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced work environment. The CNC Programmer will execute activities associated with the development, application and maintenance of manufacturing standards for the manufacturing processes. Core Responsibilities:
*Lead turning and milling programming development, instruction, and debugging tasks in collaboration with Repair Development
Engineers, Process Engineers, and machining leads
*Directly support NPI development with new NC programs.
*Collaborate with Repair Development Engineers and machining leads on fixturing development.
*Work with Process Engineers with CAD model development and validation for milling and turning operations.
*Work directly with Senior Engineering staff on various engineering initiatives.

Qualifications:
*Five or more years' experience with turning CNC programming and VTL programming (lathe, VTL, 3/4/5 axis milling CNC programming)
*Experience processing nickel, cobalt, and titanium-based alloys in Aerospace machining
operations.
*Must have experience authoring typical shop process planning paperwork e.g. Routers, Operation Sheets, Inspection Forms, etc.
*Proficient in performing full set-ups, program edits, and holding high precision tolerances.
*Ability to program with CAM (NX preferred) and manually as necessary.
*Familiarity with Repair Technical Data (Engine Repair Manuals, Service Bulletins, OEM) approved supplemental data, etc. a plus.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees.

Education Requirements:
*Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering a plus (not required)
