Commercial Low Voltage Cable Technician - Structured Cabling & Fiber Installation \| Charleston, SC Join Next Level Technician as a Commercial Low Voltage Cable Technician in Charleston, SC. Responsibilities: Install Cat6 network cabling and pre-terminated fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode) in commercial and data center environments Work with LC and MPO fiber connectors for high-performance connectivity Dress and organize cables using proper wire management techniques, including cable trays and ladder racks Rack and stack network switches, servers, and other network hardware Accurately label all cables and components to maintain clear documentation and organization Read and interpret layouts, network diagrams, and technical blueprints Ensure all work meets industry standards for quality, reliability, and safety Requirements: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in commercial or data center environments Experience with Cat6 and fiber optic cabling installation (pre-terminated preferred) Familiarity with LC and MPO connectors Working knowledge of telecom and data network infrastructure; BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus Must have basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Charleston, SC Why Work with Next Level Technician in Charleston, SC?
