The Health Sciences & Technology Academy (HSTA) at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Hybrid) Community Research Specialist. About the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Community Research Specialist to join our team, specializing in facilitating research projects with high school teachers and their students. The ideal candidate for this HYBRID position will live in WV and will guide educators in developing, implementing, and analyzing community research initiatives and projects. This role demands proficiency in statistics, analysis, pedagogy, and effective communication to foster strong partnerships and facilitate research endeavors. Must be willing to travel. Area: South-central HSTA regions of WV, counties which include Webster, Braxton, Roane, Clay, Gilmer, Wyoming, Calhoun, Greenbrier, Fayette, Kanawha, Cabell, Lincoln, Boone, McDowell and others as needed and assigned.
