Job Description As a Sever at Toro Chicago, by Richard Sandoval, you are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our food & beverage experience. Job Responsibilities: Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service Exhibit sincere hospitality. Go above and beyond for the guest. Be obsessed with guest satisfaction. Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the Point of Sale System Understand all reservations systems and iPad systems for seating charts Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods Follow brand policies, procedures and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Follow hotel time and attendance policy Follow grooming and attire guidelines Must be available to work flexible shifts including AM, PM, evenings and weekends Other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications Previous experience as a Server in high volume food and beverage operation Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation Previous point of sale system experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Ability to speak, read and write in English Ability to work a exible schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Additional Information Additional Information Salary expectations:$13.66, tip eligible position.
