Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 12:30pm-8:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available in Saint Francis, WI. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate production and packaging machinery according to work instructions. - Monitor machines to ensure proper speed, quality, and output. - Make minor adjustments to equipment to maintain performance and reduce downtime. - Inspect finished product for quality, weight accuracy, labeling, and packaging standards. - Accurately complete production logs and documentation. - Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment following GMP standards. - Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and notify maintenance as needed. - Follow all food safety, OSHA, and company safety policies. - Assist with changeovers between product runs. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. Machine Operator Requirements: - Previous machine operating experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred). - Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read work orders and production schedules. - Basic math skills (measurements, weights, counts). - Strong attention to detail and quality. - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. - Forklift certification is a plus (if applicable). - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently. - Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and reaching. - Comfortable working around spices, powders, and food ingredients. - Ability to work in varying temperatures.
