Compensation for this role is $20/hr The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
As a Solutions Engineering/Analytics Intern, you will learn the ins and outs of supporting new and existing clients by developing reports, creating dashboards, and providing insights through data analysis. What you'll do on a typical day: * Assist with researching transportation and logistics solutions and improving efficiencies * Gain understanding and experience with functional areas of transportation and logistics * Participate in projects in the areas of logistics, network design, transportation, and optimization * Research data related to mode/carrier selection, shipment tracking and the measurement of customer service and carrier performance * Gain real world knowledge of various software programs, including Power BI, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce What you need to succeed at RXO: At a minimum, you'll need: * High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) It'd be great if you also have:
Class status as a junior (3rd year) or greater Proficiency with SQL, Python and/or R, big data, and cloud computing Strong knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical modeling to solve business problems Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, including linear/logistic regression (advanced predictor selection techniques), classification (decision trees, random forests), Support Vector Machines (SVMs), neural networks, etc. Exposure to or strong interest in Power BI, data visualization, and AI-driven analytics Hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards, including DAX and basic data modeling concepts Exposure to AI/ML concepts, natural language querying, or automation in reporting processes Ability to be open-minded and receptive to feedback in an intellectually rigorous environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
