DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Early Intervention Casework Supervisor, you will help our team ensure that children with developmental delays and disabilities are supported by effective collaboration among parents, service practitioners, and others who work with young children needing special services. Your responsibilities will involve providing direct supervision to casework staff by coordinating, reviewing, monitoring, and supervising the scheduling and implementation of independent evaluations, eligibility determinations, individual and family support plan development, and the identification of early intervention supports and services. You will also oversee service coordination billing in collaboration with the agency fiscal department, prepare summaries and reports as needed, and participate in agency meetings. Additional duties include serving as the initial arbiter responsible for mediating family grievances regarding services and supports; participating in the oversight of current services, staff, and staff training; and making recommendations for the development of new protocols and practices. We will rely on you to monitor and support your staff in ensuring the appropriateness and quality of services provided to children and their families. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Employee may have occasional overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences..

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
