The Strategy Director is a senior strategy leadership role within Bloomberg Industry Group's Revenue Organization, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. This role leads revenue-focused strategic initiatives and partners closely with Revenue, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to drive sustainable growth, improve go-to-market effectiveness, and inform enterprise-level decision making.

The Strategy Director is responsible for leading high-impact strategy projects that support revenue growth, customer expansion, pricing and packaging, and overall commercial performance. The role serves as a trusted advisor to the CRO, CEO, executive leadership team, and business unit leaders.

What You Will Do

  • Partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, executive leadership team, revenue leaders, and senior stakeholders to lead strategy project execution and develop actionable, data-driven recommendations that accelerate revenue growth.

  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving and opportunity-evaluation teams, including strategic, financial, and commercial analysis, and the development of business cases and execution roadmaps for high-impact growth initiatives.

  • Drive development of materials and presentations for the executive leadership team and Management Committee related to revenue strategy, growth initiatives, market performance, and forward-looking business outlooks.

  • Support revenue decision-making through rigorous analysis, insights, and frameworks across pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, and sales effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to inform and shape analysis and recommendations on new products, emerging industry and customer trends, market expansion opportunities, competitive dynamics, and market scoping, sizing, and mapping.

  • Provide strategic support for ad hoc initiatives including transformation efforts and performance improvement initiatives across the revenue organization.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational, project management, and follow-through skills while managing multiple concurrent, high-visibility initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in finance, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5years of relevant business experience.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies in concert with the Chief Revenue Officer to drive long-term initiatives

  • Analytical Skills: Strong background in data analysis to support strategy development

  • Communication: Proficient in both written and spoken communication, with the ability to present strategies and findings clearly to senior management

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience in working with multiple departments (e.g., finance, operations, marketing, product) to align business strategies

  • Project Management: Demonstratedexperienceleading strategic initiatives and high-profile strategic projects preferable at a technology/SaaS company or consultingfirm.
