The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for protecting performance and preventing operational risk across Managed Transportation teams. This role ensures stable, compliant, and consistent execution by owning departmental standards, monitoring operational performance, and driving proactive interventions. In addition to supporting the current state of operations, the QA Manager plays a key role in continuous improvement: identifying opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen execution, and reinforce the MT culture of accountability, transparency, and shared ownership. This is a highly collaborative role with frequent interaction across MT Ops Teams and supporting departments, requiring strong partnership, communication, and influence. The QA Manager is deeply integrated with day-to-day operations to maintain strong fundamentals and preserve service reliability for both customers and internal stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the Ops Excellence program, including KPI monitoring, scorecard distribution, and performance trend analysis

  • Prevent escalations by proactively monitoring service risk indicators and reinforcing strong operational fundamentals

  • Identify operational risk early through data review, audits, and trend monitoring; drive corrective and preventive actions

  • Maintain departmental standards through governance of SOPs, workflows, documentation, and version control

  • Champion continuous improvement and reinforce MT culture through high collaboration with MT teams and cross-functional partners

  • Support onboarding and standardization efforts, ensuring new team members understand and follow core operational practices

Skills

  • Bachelors Degree; Supply Chain/Logistics or Business preferred

  • 5 - 8+ years industry related experience

  • Displays an expertise in Echo Managed Transportation Operations' core functions and value prop to clients

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking

  • Process design and optimization

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
