Marketing (Creative) Summer Intern

Grow Financial is headquartered in Tampa, FL. Candidate must be local to Tampa, FL.

The Marketing Intern provides creative support to the Marketing department, contributing to a variety of projects from ideation through execution. The primary focus is on graphic design for both internal and external initiatives that advance the credit union's brand and communications.

Internship to start Summer 2026.

Competitive pay starting at $20/hr.

Must be enrolled at University of South Florida or University of Tampa to qualify for a Grow Financial internship.

Start date Monday, May 18th & Tuesday, May 19th
Orientation Wednesday, May 20th

We do not interview or hire students in F-1 or J-1 status and will not sponsor them for work visas.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Currently enrolled as a college student majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Photography or a related creative field.
• 1+ years of part-time work experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Junior or Senior status in a creative major.
• Availability to work 10-15 hours per week during business hours, with occasional weekend/non-business hours events.
• 2+ years of part-time work experience.
• Experience in creating social media content.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of 25 pounds without assistance (or with reasonable accommodation).
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and typing English.
• Ability to use a telephone and perform repetitive computer tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Hybrid work setup: in-office and remote.
• As part of your role, you will occasionally travel between various Grow locations within the Tampa Bay Area,community events and/or local businesses.
• Must be able and willing to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx.
• Standard Business hours are 8:00am- 5:00pm, Monday- Friday
• Interns will have flexibility around school schedules. Please note schedule will not exceed 29hrs/week
