About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As an Operator 3, you will be accountable for setting up and monitoring the Divider/VMag to ensure dough accuracy, product consistency, and adherence to company quality and foodsafety standards. This role is critical to maintaining efficient dough flow, preventing defects, and supporting smooth production operations.

  • Shift: 2nd
  • Hours: 2PM - 10:30PM
  • Weekend availability: Required



Compensation



  • Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $25.00



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Set up, operate, and monitor the Divider/VMag to achieve consistent dough quality and product specifications
  • Inspect equipment prior to operation and maintain cleanliness around the divider, hopper, and staging areas
  • Monitor dough consistency and collaborate with Mixers and Forepersons on process adjustments
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting any deviations or issues promptly
  • Ensure proper removal of doubles and correct alignment of dough entering the proofer
  • Support foodsafety compliance by following GMPs, HACCP standards, and allergen controls
  • Communicate equipment, product, or safety concerns to Supervision



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or a foodproduction environment
  • Ability to read, write, and complete accurate and legible documentation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform standing, bending, twisting, and stairclimbing
  • Strong communication skills and attentiveness to product quality and safety



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Experience operating doughhandling or divider equipment
  • Understanding of bakery production flow
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting
  • Prior experience with HACCP or GMPregulated environments
