Job Description

As a Global Account Manager you will represent Rockwell Automation's comprehensive product and solution portfolio to Global Account customers who have made a substantial business commitment. You will oversee global partnership development with the Global Account's corporate influence points and communicate our value propositions at an executive customer level. You are responsible for extended team leadership ensuring worldwide sales/support to increase the scope of our product and service reach. You facilitate communications between the Global Accounts and the our product groups.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Represent the full breadth of Rockwell Automation's products and services and maintain selective deep expertise in customercritical areas.
  • Engage confidently with senior and executive leaders at the Global Account, demonstrating clear economic value in Rockwell Automation's offerings.
  • Drive business growth by coordinating and influencing extended teams across regions, building alignment with Field Sales Management and geographic sales organizations.
  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with key Global Account sponsors and establish growth plans for all Rockwell Automation products and services worldwide.
  • Rapidly qualify opportunities to focus resources on the highestvalue initiatives.
  • Ensure the Global Account has seamless access to Rockwell Automation's global resources through strong internal relationships with product groups, business units, and leadership.
  • Participate early in the customer's planning and implementation processes, providing control/information insight and recommending beneficial strategies for both organizations.
  • Identify new product and service growth opportunities that mutually benefit Rockwell Automation and the Global Account.
  • Develop and communicate an annual global account plan, collaborating with worldwide sales and support teams and providing ongoing progress updates.
  • Expand Rockwell Automation's global footprint with the account and ensure consistent delivery across regions.
  • In partnership with the Global Account, define and share reference applications that support broader industry and global sales efforts.
  • Apply company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements consistently, including Standards of Business Conduct, IP protection, control environment expectations, and ISO/quality/safety guidelines.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of time.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering, Technical or related discipline, or more than 8 years of prior experience in Technical Sales, global account management experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program
  • Applied experience in one or more areas related to selling control/information solutions into our target industries This experience can also be in supporting these solutions, or in production/process engineering, manufacturing operations, or similar work.
  • Experience selling at the senior management and executive levels, focusing on the business outcomes and demonstrating the tangible economic value of our products, information software and service
  • Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technologies
  • IOT / IIOT / Software / Annual Recurring Revenue-Subscription model type of experience
  • Expereiene working with all levels of a manufacturing enterprise - CxO, operations leadership, technical leadership, plant leadership and OEM machine builders

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from $208,000 - $312,000 of which 60% is base salary and 40% is variable. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
