About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Environmental Professional to join our Environmental team leading and managing a portfolio of due diligence projects. This position will be based in Oregon with options to be located in Portland, Bend, Eugene or Ashland. This role will oversee due diligence assessments for complex transportation projects, municipalities, and industrial clients.

You Will:

  • Serve as technical lead for due diligence projects, overseeing scope development, risk prioritization, and alignment with client goals and timelines.
  • Serve as the Environmental Professional of record for Phase I ESAs for projects ranging from a single property to over 100 properties along a project corridor. Author or review and sign Phase I ESA reports in compliance with ASTM E1527-21. Ensure technical accuracy, defensibility, and consistency with firm standards.
  • Serve as technical lead for hazardous materials corridor studies for road, bridge, public transit, and municipal projects.
  • Prepare and oversee hazardous materials technical reports for NEPA EAs, EISs and similar documents.
  • Provide senior-level quality control review of deliverables, with a focus on regulatory compliance, data interpretation, and clear risk communication.
  • Coordinate with site investigation team to perform Phase II ESAs or similar sampling programs.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Meet Environmental Professional qualification under 40 CFR Part 312.
  • 8+ years of experience conducting and leading environmental due diligence and hazardous materials assessments.
  • Strong technical writing skills with a track record of authoring and finalizing defensible, client-facing reports.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $110,000-$140,000.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.
