As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a hotels and resorts location, you will perform security-related patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support guests and staff with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to assigned areas and help respond to incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, back-of-house spaces, amenities, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual conditions, and communicate concerns via radio, phone, and/or approved reporting systems.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, activity logs, and shift handoff notes, following location procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
