Strategic Media Planning Specialist This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA or New York, NY. Summary
This role focuses on developing and executing integrated media strategies that drive both performance and brand outcomes. You will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, ensuring media plans align with business objectives while optimizing campaign performance across channels. Our Ideal Candidate
- 4-5+ years of experience in media planning and strategy, preferably within an agency environment
- Passion for media, marketing, and audience strategy with a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making
- Proficient in digital advertising platforms, social media channels, and traditional media (OOH, TV), with strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Familiar with syndicated research tools (e.g., MRI/Simmons, comScore) and social listening platforms
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including media, creative, and marketing stakeholders
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
- Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, or streaming industries is a plus
Job Description
In this role, you will lead the development of integrated media strategies across digital, social, and traditional channels. You'll partner with internal stakeholders and external media teams to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns that support key business goals. This includes building media briefs, reviewing plans, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and presentations. You will also analyze campaign performance, provide strategic recommendations, and guide stakeholders on budget allocation, messaging, and channel effectiveness-supporting the broader team's success and ensuring campaigns deliver measurable impact. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Background in media planning, communications strategy, or marketing analytics
- Experience overseeing campaigns from concept through execution

- The pay for this W-2 position is$57.00/hr in Culver City, CA or $61.16/hr in NYC,NY
- This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
