Position: Technical Support Specialist (Credit Card & POS Systems)

Location: Bartlesville, OK

Pay: $20.00-$29.00/hour

Job Type: Contract (6+ months)

Schedule: 24/7 availability required (days, evenings, weekends, overnights)

We are seeking a customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to provide help desk support for credit card processing systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology. This role supports customers, marketers, and dealers by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical support via phone, chat, email, and online platforms for credit card processing issues.
  • Troubleshoot POS systems, EPOS equipment, and network connectivity (DSL, VSAT, broadband).
  • Assist with chargebacks, transaction inquiries, and credit card settlement reconciliation.
  • Support customer supply requests in alignment with internal guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and performance metrics (quality, productivity, customer satisfaction).
  • Navigate and support web-based platforms and extranet systems (e.g., Bizlink, Lubestream).
  • Continuously build knowledge of software, hardware, and payment processing systems.



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of IT help desk or technical support experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, networking technologies (DSL, VSAT), and payment processing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24/7 support environment.
