About the Team/Role

The Health & Benefits team at WEX is leading a major transformation to unify previously siloed platforms-including Benefits Administration, Consumer Directed Health (CDH), and Cobra Direct Bill (CDB)-into a single, modern ecosystem. This role sits at the center of that effort, contributing to the development of a next-generation platform designed to deliver a seamless, end-to-end experience for all customer types. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will own a key domain within this unified platform, driving discovery, defining capabilities, and partnering across engineering, design, and business teams to bring a cohesive product vision to life. This is a unique opportunity to build a zero-to-one product in a highly complex, regulated space while leveraging modern architecture and product practices.

How you'll make an impact

  • Own and define a product domain within the unified Health & Benefits platform, including discovery, roadmap, and delivery

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to align on priorities and execution

  • Drive the transition from legacy systems to a unified platform by identifying requirements and defining scalable solutions

  • Conduct customer discovery and market research to uncover unmet needs and inform product direction

  • Translate ambiguity into clear product requirements, epics, and priorities for development teams

  • Participate in quarterly planning and backlog refinement to ensure continuous delivery and alignment

  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience by coordinating across multiple product areas and teams

  • Leverage modern product development practices including rapid prototyping, user testing, and data-driven decision making

  • Contribute to building a scalable, API-driven, microservices-based platform architecture

  • Act as a unifier across teams, driving alignment and consensus in a complex and evolving environment

Experience you'll bring

  • 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in platform or complex systems environments

  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, benefits, or similar domains strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and drive clarity

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated ability to own a product domain end-to-end, from discovery through delivery

  • Experience working with modern architectures such as APIs and microservices (technical fluency required, coding not required)

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive, self-starting mindset

  • Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across teams

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; degree is not required

  • PMP or similar certification is a plus but not required
