Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Global Event Planning, Ideation & Execution

  • Support end-to-end planning and execution of global PR experiential events, including external product launches, trade shows, Lenovo own external events and internal leadership summits.
  • Contribute to the ideation of creative, experiential concepts that bring product key selling points and brand differentiators to life in compelling, memorable ways. The brand storytelling should be seen through
  • Research, source, conduct site visits, and book venues aligned to creative vision, audience needs, and operational requirements.
  • Research, source, book, and manage hotel room blocks for senior leadership and global staff.
  • Partner with senior leadership and executive admins to coordinate event-related meetings, including locations, schedules, transportation, and logistics.
  • Manage on-site execution, ensuring a seamless experience for guests, leadership, and internal teams.
  • Ensure events prioritize interaction, immersion, and storytelling-moving beyond static product displays to create experiences that demonstrate Motorola's innovation, design, and lifestyle relevance.

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Brand to ensure events are on-brand and reflective of Motorola's brand identity and values.
  • Part of PR organization, will partner Social Media, Product Marketing and Brand teams to align on event concepts, structure, messaging, and amplification.
  • Collaborate with Lenovo events teams to integrate Motorola into master event plans, contributing ideas that showcase Motorola's product strengths and brand identity within shared global moments.
  • Work with external partners to incorporate their products and messaging into launch events and trade shows in a thoughtful, brand-aligned way.

Global Scaling & Enablement

  • Create and manage global event toolkits that enable regional teams to replicate and localize global experiential activations while maintaining consistency in brand, messaging, and execution.
  • Share best practices and guidance with regional teams to support successful execution across markets.
  • Act as a connection point between global strategy and local execution.

Agency & Partner Management

  • Brief, manage, and collaborate with agency partners for launch events and trade shows, providing clear direction, timelines, and objectives.
  • Review creative proposals, plans, and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategy, brand standards, and executional excellence.

Demo Staff & On-Site Team Management

  • Support the briefing and coordination of demo staff for events, ensuring they are prepared to communicate product benefits and brand storytelling effectively.
  • Manage demo staff schedules and on-site coordination to support consistent guest engagement and smooth execution.

Budget, Operations & Reporting

  • As part of PR team, will manage event budgets, including tracking spend and ensuring alignment with approved plans.
  • Support operational planning, timelines, and vendor coordination to deliver events efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead post-event recaps and reporting, gathering insights, feedback, and learnings from internal teams and partners to inform future events.

Team Management

  • The events team is composed by a manager, a specialist and a junior professional. The leader will manage these both professionals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in global events, experiential marketing, brand activations, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting global product launches, trade shows, and internal leadership events.
  • Open to travel up to 30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience managing agencies and external vendors.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Passion for experiential storytelling and creating meaningful brand moments.
  • A collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership.
  • Creative and strategic, with the ability to translate ideas into executable plans.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Adaptable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $100K-124k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
