Production Associate - Manufacturing / General Labor

Job Summary

We are hiring Production Associates to support our manufacturing operations by safely handling, organizing, and preparing lumber products for production and shipment. In this hands-on, general labor role, you will help ensure materials meet quality standards and customer specifications in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to build experience in manufacturing, production, or lumber operations.

Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour, depending on experience

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

What We Make

We manufacture laminated wood products used in RVs, cargo trailers, and manufactured or modular homes. Our operation includes an in-house mill that cuts and prepares materials prior to the lamination process, giving operators exposure to multiple stages of production.

Key Responsibilities

Move, handle, and secure lumber products and materials according to instructions

Stack finished products based on bundle size and customer requirements

Label materials by product type, size, and count

Apply individual tags before and/or after treating or production

Band, bundle, and secure materials using strapping and corner protectors

Use a staple gun and troubleshoot minor equipment issues

Verify correct quantities are bundled, labeled, and secured

Maintain accurate inventory of tags and report discrepancies to a supervisor

Record production activity on production sheets

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Assist other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts

Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

Participate in safety meetings, continuous improvement (CI), and team activities

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

No prior manufacturing experience required; lumber or production experience is a plus

High school diploma or GED preferred, not required

Basic math skills preferred

Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a physical manufacturing environment
