    Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will do in This Role:
    • Exposure to all aspects of material control and gain a solid understanding of how MRP functions within a manufacturing environment.

    • Responsibilities will include supporting receiving, shipping, and cycle counting activities, as well as entering inventory counts and performing variance analysis.

    • Get a well-rounded understanding of how materials flow in and out of a manufacturing facility, along with the importance of timeliness and accuracy at each step of the process.

    • In addition, analyzing the current cycle count variances to ensure all inventory items are being properly captured and counted.

    • Another project focuses on reviewing existing direct-to-project inventory and converting it to common inventory where appropriate. In some cases, items remain flagged as direct-to-project even after the associated project has been fulfilled using different inventory, leaving those materials unusable. We need to identify these instances and update their status so they can be used more effectively.
