Material Planning Coordinator

Location: Anniston, AL

Pay: Up to $29.30/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Planning Coordinator to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for MRP planning, inventory control, and shop floor coordination to ensure materials are available and production stays on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage MRP-based production schedules
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines
• Monitor inventory levels and perform cycle counts and audits
• Track work order progress, material usage, and stock levels
• Identify and resolve material shortages, delays, or discrepancies
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, engineering, and warehouse teams
• Prepare and process documents (material requests, shipping, releases)
• Analyze data related to scrap, cycle time, and inventory performance
• Support process improvements to prevent stockouts and optimize flow

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, operations, or business
• 1+ year of experience in material planning or manufacturing operations
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

Preferred:

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industries
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
