Description

We are looking for our next Hollow Metal Supervisor - a role designed for someone ready to take the next step in their career or bring their leadership experience to a team focused on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for a strong individual contributor who's ready to step into leadership, or an experienced supervisor who enjoys developing people while staying hands-on in the work!

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll balance team leadership and production work, serving as both a coach and a technical expert:



  • Lead, coach, and develop the hollow metal detailing team.
  • Provide hands-on training using live work, samples, and structured materials.
  • Develop and continuously improve training curriculum and guides.
  • Help team members interpret project specifications and identify key requirements and discrepancies.
  • Guide appropriate issue escalation and customer communication.
  • Ensure consistency with department SOPs, pricing practices, hardware preps, and applications.
  • Stay current on industry changes and best practices.
  • Contribute to individual project work while setting the standard for performance.



What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership potential:



  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in hollow metal detailing.
  • Strong understanding of products, specifications, and applications.
  • Ability and desire to train, mentor, and support others.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Comfortable working through complex or evolving situations.
  • A team-first mindset with the ability to build trust and accountability.

Work Environment



  • Primarily onsite to support team collaboration and training.
  • Occasional work in the manufacturing shop (PPE provided).
  • Office-based role with some light physical activity (lifting up to 25 pounds).



Education & Experience



  • High school diploma required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree (business, supply chain, or related field) preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience required.
  • Interest in leading and developing others is essential.
