Security Construction Coordinator

Responsible for overseeing security-related aspects of construction and renovation projects within the hospital. This role involves collaborating with contractors, architects, and hospital staff to ensure that security measures are integrated into all construction processes, maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
-Coordinate and oversee security requirements for all construction and renovation projects within the hospital.
-Review architectural and engineering plans to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
-Work closely with contractors, architects, and project managers to integrate security measures during the planning and execution phases.
-Serve as the primary liaison between the hospital's security team and construction personnel.
-Conduct risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities in construction areas and develop mitigation strategies.
-Ensure all security risks are addressed before, during, and after construction activities.

Education
Associate's Degree Security preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Low Voltage Class D license required

Experience
Experience in security management, construction coordination, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of security systems, construction processes, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and security technology.
