The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Neurology is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Post Doctoral Research Scholar for the Narayanan Laboratory. This position will provide scientific and technical leadership in the management, design, and conduct of basic pre-clinical and/or clinical research. The postdoc will also participate in didactics, research, and teaching when available. Duties to include:
- Designing and executing experiments
- Maintaining clinical databases
- Collecting and analyzing data
- Assisting with writing and revising manuscripts, grant proposals, abstract submission, and publications
- Coordinating and managing pre-clinical or clinical trials

- MD or PhD in related discipline. PhD in neuroscience preferred.
- Research experience at the graduate level. Research experience in neuroscience preferred.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, R, or Python.
- Excellent laboratory and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
