Electric Line Technician - Experience Required - minimum 4 years distribution line experience This position requires cyber or physical access to designated secured areas. Employees who career preference for this position must successfully pass a background check in order to be awarded the position. Job description: Responsibilities include the construction, repair, removal and maintenance of electric overhead and underground distribution systems supplying service to all customers. Safety, precision, and the ability to respond to emergencies are essential elements of this position. Pole setting, pole climbing, stringing line, splicing cable and using machinery to assist the work effort are additional aspects of this challenging job. The positions available are located in Dayton/West Central Ohio Service Territory of AES Ohio (DP&L).At this time only candidates with a minimum of 4 years distribution line experience will be considered. Job Skills/Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Drivers License. Must pass EEI Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) Test and the Company equivalent progression test. Will be required to successfully complete a job skill verification assessment. Willing to work non-standard shifts, respond to emergency calls, and work in all weather conditions. Must be able to pass government background check. Must be able to provide supporting technical training and work experience documentation. Benefits and Compensation:
