SUMMARY:
The Project Manager will lead Medscape's broadcasts projects through the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) process from sale to launch. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual that wants to take a hands-on approach in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and editing content submissions for multiple projects, thorough QC of submission materials, tracking project progress, and monitoring timelines. The Project Manager is in constant communication with our Account Management team to understand and meet the needs of our clients and daily correspondence with other internal teams to revise and produce our images, websites, videos, and other digital work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Successfully manage projects from sale to launch
  • Prepare/edit documents required for submission and approval through various pharmaceutical regulatory processes
  • Thorough editorial and correctness QC of all submission materials
  • Coordinate with Account, Creative, Technology, and Event teams in the execution of projects
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project-related requests
  • Manage timelines for all project deliverables
  • Use project management software to track projects and provide frequent status updates
  • Use online submissions systems to upload pieces, download comments, tag references, and track progress
  • Interpret and address Medical/Legal/Regulatory comments
  • Review live websites, HTML files, and videos to confirm that they match approved versions
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising or equivalent fast-paced environment
  • Must have solid Microsoft Office experience especially related to Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and project management software a plus

  • Have a good understanding of how to motivate people and to get to the heart of the matter
  • Must have a professional attitude and be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Possess a high comfort level with technology, technical processes, and digital materials

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
