PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Soo Line Railroad Company, dba CPKC, seeks a Principal - SAP Technical in Kansas City, MO, within the SAP Centre of Excellence (SAP CoE), responsible for ensuring strategic alignment of SAP investments with business priorities. This role drives technical vision, optimizes SAP performance, and strengthens SAP capabilities to support company-wide digital transformation and S/4HANA journey. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an IT related Engineering field. The position requires 5 years of progressively responsible experience with SAP technical architecture, analysis, and design. The experience must include at least five (5) years of working with SAP Basis, HANA, ABAP, BAPI, and Idoc for application development, system integration, and cloud deployment; at least five (5) years of supporting SAP NetWeaver Suite components including ECC, BI, BO/BODS, PO, GRC, Portal, Solution Manager, and HANA; and at least five (5) years of architecting SAP solutions on hyperscalers including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Experience must include managing complex SAP environments across on premise and cloud platforms. Travel approximately ten percent (10%), including quarterly visits to Canada (1 week/trip) for operational and stakeholder meetings, and occasional travel to conferences within the United States and Canada.
