PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Soo Line Railroad, dba CPKC, is seeking an SAP Basis Administrator - Intermediate in Kansas City, MO, to be responsible for providing an intermediate level of operation support, design, and implementation of all SAP environment components including the Application Server, TMS and interaction with Operating System, and Database systems. The position of SAP Basis Intermediate is responsible for providing an intermediate level of operation support, design, and implementation of all SAP environment components including the Application Server, TMS and interaction with Operating System, and Database systems. The reliability of the environment is paramount in the day-to-day operation of the SAP System Landscape. The specific duties include: POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems. We require a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in SAP Basis support utilizing SAP software, and administration of Windows platforms. This must include at least three (3) years of each of the following (can be gained concurrently): (i) STMS (Transport Management System); (ii) installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading system solutions, service packs and kernel upgrades; (iii) daily monitoring and troubleshooting of system performance; (iv) client copies and/or refreshes; (v) implementing, maintaining and upgrading SAP and related third party software; and (vi) maintaining current and accurate documentation of systems configuration and operational processes.
