Description
Presidio, Where Teamwork and Innovation Shape the Future At Presidio, we're at the forefront of a global technology revolution, transforming industries through cutting-edge digital solutions and next-generation AI. We empower businesses - and their internal customers - to achieve more through innovation, automation, and intelligent insights. The Role
Presidio is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our Release and Readiness Portfolio Team as Portfolio Management Director. In this role, you will drive the development, evolution, and execution of key cloud, security, and managed services portfolios. You will be responsible for defining the strategic rationale-the "Why"-behind our portfolio of services and offerings across multiple practices and disciplines. This leader will assess global market opportunities, inform investment decisions, and align offerings with customer needs and long-term enterprise value. You will influence and guide the direction throughout the service development and strategy, and partner with the practices / Discipline teams in the ongoing development of their portfolio. Focus will be on our Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience Services, Network and Infrastructure Services, FinOps Services, ServiceNow Platform Services, and Software and Hardware Lifecycle Management practices. This newly created position will join our Services & Solutions Portfolio team and is pivotal to shaping the future of our services and solutions, ensuring our offerings are market-relevant, differentiated, and financially compelling. Responsibilities Include:
- Portfolio Management: Consult with practices throughout the lifecycle management of services - from concept to sunset - with a focus on customer impact, business value, and strategic alignment. Influence the ongoing evolution of a 12-18 month roadmap of services across cloud, cybersecurity, network, and platform capabilities. Ensure security and resilience offerings (including Cyber Threat Management, SIEM/Splunk Observability, and governance frameworks) are positioned as first-class portfolio investments
- Value Proposition & Differentiation: Collaborate with the practices and discipline teams and product marketing to position and clearly articulate the "why" behind each offering - the business problem it solves, the customer value it creates, and how it strengthens our competitive position.
- Investment Strategy: curate and prioritize portfolio investments in partnership with practices, finance, engineering, and delivery, ensuring return on investment, scalability, and innovation alignment. Evaluate opportunities in emerging areas including AI-driven threat detection, Splunk-powered observability, zero trust architectures, and ServiceNow security and IT workflows.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Align with product, marketing, delivery, sales, and regional teams to operationalize offerings, drive adoption, and ensure strong go-to-market readiness. Ensure GTM sales teams leverage portfolio assets across security, network, and platform service lines, including battle cards, objection handling, and competitive positioning materials.
- Liaison with Engineering: Coordinate with Solutions Engineering to ensure new solutions and offerings - particularly in Cybersecurity, network security, SIEM, endpoint protection, and ServiceNow integrations - are aligned with existing portfolio across base services, solutions, and engineered services products.
- Performance & Optimization: Monitor and optimize portfolio health through business KPIs, profitability, customer outcomes, and usage metrics. Apply security posture metrics, threat coverage benchmarks, and platform adoption indicators (e.g., Splunk license utilization, ServiceNow workflow coverage) as part of a comprehensive portfolio scorecard. Recommend rationalization or evolution as needed.
- Thought leadership: Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to senior leadership, influencing roadmap direction, innovation focus, and growth strategy. Serve as an internal authority on evolving cyber threat landscapes, resilience architectures, governance and compliance requirements, and the convergence of IT operations and security through platforms like ServiceNow and Splunk.
Required Skills and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and / or military experience; Master's Degree Preferred
- 10+ years of experience in services delivery, sales and portfolio management, or services strategy within technology consulting, with meaningful exposure to cybersecurity, network, or platform service portfolios preferred.
- Domain Knowledge Required:
- Cybersecurity & Cyber Resilience:Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end cybersecurity portfolios spanning threat prevention, detection, response, and recovery. This includes zero trust frameworks, cyber resilience strategies, incident response lifecycle, vulnerability management, and security architecture advisory services.
- SIEM & Splunk Observability:Hands-on familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms - including Splunk Enterprise Security and Splunk Observability Cloud - as managed and advisory service components. Ability to articulate the business value of unified observability, security analytics, and real-time threat correlation to both technical and executive audiences.
- Cyber Threat Intelligence & Governance:Knowledge of current and emerging threat actors, attack vectors, and industry-specific risk profiles. Demonstrates knowledge and application of industry risk and compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, SOC 2) and applies them to assess organizational exposure and control maturity. Ability to connect governance and compliance positioning with Presidio's advisory and managed service offerings.
- Network & Infrastructure Services: Strong foundational understanding of enterprise network architecture including SD-WAN, network security (firewalls, microsegmentation, SASE/SSE), network monitoring and management, and the convergence of network and security operations. Ability to position network services as both a standalone portfolio component and a critical dependency for cloud and security offerings.
- Leadership - proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage complex global service portfolios spanning cloud, cybersecurity, network, and platform domains.
- Insight - Demonstrated ability to translate market insights - including threat intelligence trends and regulatory shifts - into actionable business strategies, services, and solutions.
- Strong Financial Acumen - analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making to drive investment decisions and measure business impact, including security ROI and risk reduction quantification.
