TITLE: Converting Operator B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Support daily production operations by ensuring product quality, maintaining efficient line performance, and leading team members to follow proper procedures and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6+ months previous experience in manufacturing or converting operations preferred
• Ability to perform machine setup and basic troubleshooting
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train and support team members in a production environment
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support daily production line operations
• Assist with machine setup and adjustments
• Monitor product quality and address issues as needed
• Review and verify production tickets (quantity and total lbs.)
• Train and guide operators and packers on proper procedures
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure proper scrap and recycling handling
• Coordinate with shipping/warehouse for material movement and placement
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety rules and company policies

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Inside and outside environments apply
• Manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Subject to noise
