Role: Senior Backend .Net Developer

Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core

* Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices

* Deploy, configure, and optimize applications on AWS EC2

* Work with AWS services including S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and load balancers

* Collaborate with front end developers using React for integration and feature delivery

* Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the application stack

* Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements common in financial systems

* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts

Required Skills:

senior Backend .Net Developer (10+ years of experience)

* Senior level experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core

* Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns

* Hands on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS EC2

* Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)

* Proficiency with Entity Framework Core

* Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD workflows

* Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

* Experience in finance or financial services environments

* Basic to intermediate knowledge of React

* Experience with AWS ECS, EKS, or Lambda

* Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

* Experience with event driven architecture (SNS, SQS, Kafka)

* Background in automated testing frameworks

Work Environment / Additional Notes:

* Backend focused role; React knowledge is helpful but not required

* Experience with secure, regulated environments (finance) is a plus

* Collaboration with cross functional engineering teams
