Security Officer - School Patrol (Weekday Mornings)

As a Security Officer - Shool Patrol in Glenshaw, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a school location, where you will greet students, staff, and visitors, manage access and sign-in activities, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help to monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and reflect our caring culture through teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by greeting students, staff, visitors, and vendors at the front desk while following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and check-out, issuing passes when appropriate, and documenting arrivals and departures.
• Answer phones, provide directions and information, and communicate with site personnel regarding visitor requests, deliveries, and/or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to daily activity and security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
