Duties/Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
* Provides clerical and secretarial support to include check-in and consent process.
* Monitors reception area for patients in distress or for long wait times and acts to resolve.
* Schedules appointments accurately and appropriately.
* Assist patients with entering insurance information into the patient portal.
* Provides effective telephone coverage for incoming calls to the clinic.
* Forwards information, messages, or caller to appropriate individual.
* Communicate appropriate information to patients regarding their visit (preparation, expected timeframe, date, clinician, parking, etc)
* Interact with callers and staff in a helpful and courteous way.

* Documents patient information clearly and accurately.
* Recognizes abnormal findings and urgent problems and seeks appropriate assistance.
* Always ensures patient and staff safety.
* Complete all assignments and procedures in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision.
