We're seeking a Staff Accountant in our Atlanta, GA office to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for providing relevant, timely and accurate financial data to support the Accounting Department's key initiatives and deadlines. This position is focused on input, preparation, and reconciliation of financial statement accounts to achieve an efficient and accurate month end close.

YOU WILL:




  • Record journal entries in the accounting system and ensure appropriate supporting documents are provided.



  • Assist with month-end close process.




  • Manage and record cash transactions through the cash module.



  • Collaborate with the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams as needed.



  • Analyze accounting results, investigate variances, and document findings.



  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.



  • Assist in the gathering of information for audit preparation.



  • Ad hoc and special projects as requested.



IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:




  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university.



  • Must be detailed oriented, possess strong analytical and organizational skills.



  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.



  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.



  • Demonstrated success in quickly learning new systems and tools to manage business functions.



  • Demonstrates ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a strong team environment.



  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.



  • Intermediate with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.).



  • Basic understanding of US GAAP accounting practices and procedures.



  • Experience working with large ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, Workday experience a plus).



  • Embraces change with a positive attitude and actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
