As a Senior Supervisor, Transportation in Dedicated Transportation at RXO, you will act as a change agent for the team. You'll help ensure that important organizational initiatives and solutions are successfully implemented, maintained, and improved when needed. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Work with internal departments in support of transportation operation implementations in a team environment

  • Oversee and lead change management initiatives and provide continuing post-implementation support

  • Define business problems, identify solutions, and provide analysis and recommendations

  • Alongside recruiting, support driver hiring to include interviewing, road testing, processing, and training

  • Ownership of driver scheduling, engagement activities, safety training and initiatives

  • Provide customer support management of transportation network design and operational SOP's

  • Management of operational expenses within planned budget to include labor, maintenance plans, fuel purchases

  • With support of safety team, oversee the driver safety program

  • Ensure that both internal and external client issues are addressed in a timely manner

What you'll need to excel:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 3 years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry

  • Experience in 2 or more of the following disciplines: supply chain management, transportation, or distribution

  • Fleet Management, leading teams of drivers, safety leadership, DOT Rules

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, TMW, Omnitracs One, Lytx Cameras

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent planning, client support, communication, and organizational skills
