Silvus is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager who will report to the FP&A Director on the Finance team. The successful individual in this role will bridge the gap between financial planning and operational execution, partnering closely with our Supply Chain and Engineering teams to optimize cost efficiency and profitability for our advanced Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) radios.

The primary duty of this position is to perform high-level financial and operational analysis and lead strategic decision-making related to supply chain cost structure and profitability. This role operates with minimal supervision in exercising independent judgment and discretion on matters of significance to determine appropriate methods and approaches to prioritize and direct work based on business needs.

This position is based at Silvus Technologies' headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA, and is on a hybrid schedule. A minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inventory & Working Capital: Lead inventory management strategies and Working Capital optimization, including the refinement of vendor terms.

  • Product Costing (BOM): Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain on BOM development and maintain strict oversight of COGS detail management.

  • Strategic Sourcing Finance: Analyze and determine pricing, sourcing, and tariff strategies, exercising discretion to protect margins and mitigate financial risk.

  • Operational Analysis: Interpret complex financial and operational data to make recommendations to finance leadership regarding vendor strategy, pricing, and cost controls.

  • Process Improvement: Enhance data systems and proactive tools to reduce cycle times for key supply chain metrics.

  • Executive Support: Design and oversee financial reporting frameworks to guide forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.

  • Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in a finance, operational finance, or supply chain role.

  • Leadership: 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel and the ability to transform raw data into usable formats while automating repetitive processes.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting, and manufacturing environments.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.

  • All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience with Google Apps Script, Power Query, SQL, Python, Alteryx, or related data preparation tools.

  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

  • Experience forecasting and analyzing operational cash flows.

  • Background in manufacturing, Management Consulting, or Private Equity.

  • Background in product costing, cost accounting, or a strong supply chain function.

COMPENSATION: $135,000 - $175,000 / annually
