Play a pivotal role in the care of critically ill patients by delivering advanced pharmacotherapy across multiple ICU settings within a leading academic medical center. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while contributing directly to life-saving interventions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the future development of critical care pharmacy. This is a high-impact evening position designed for pharmacists who thrive in complex, fast-paced ICU environments and are seeking meaningful clinical autonomy, professional growth, and consistent work-life balance through a four-day work week. The Role As a Clinical Pharmacist in Critical Care, you will be embedded within a dedicated ICU pharmacy team, supporting a wide range of critical care units while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow pharmacists. Your schedule begins around 12:00pm, allowing time for project work and team engagement before transitioning into full ICU coverage later in the afternoon and evening. On a typical day, you will:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy required. Experience: No experience required. PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred. Licensure: Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License or within 60 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: typing. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $64.37 - $89.07 hourly.
