We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively while also handling independent responsibilities. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will support the accounting team by managing invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong communication skills and an investigative mindset to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely collections. Key Responsibilities * Process and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner * Record and reconcile incoming payments, including checks and electronic transactions * Monitor accounts and follow up on outstanding or overdue invoices * Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues * Communicate professionally with customers regarding account balances and payment status * Maintain organized and accurate financial records * Answer inbound calls in a friendly, professional manner * Support the accounting team with administrative and project-based tasks * Perform backup duties within the accounting department as needed Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently * Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others * Strong problem-solving and investigative skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications * Experience in Accounts Receivable or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) * Prior exposure to accounting systems or financial software * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred but not required) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Franklin, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.57/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
