**THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE**

Job Description and Responsibilities:

This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide engineering support for elevator components.The engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, integrating new component designs into existing systems and addressing turn backs while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments.

Typical responsibilities include engineering calculations and analysis, component design, cost analysis, test and documentation of a wide range of elevator components. The candidate must have a strong background in mechanical engineering, ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, ability to deliver assigned commitments on time.


Required Skills:

  • Component, system modeling and design with Creo (Pro Engineer) or similar software
  • Engineering calculations including Mathcad or similar software
  • Engineering problem solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Must Work Onsite
  • Self-motivated personality with a strong desire to continue learning

Nice To Have

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Mechanical structural analysis including Ansys or other FEA software
  • Proficiency in using PLM/PDM system capable of storing documentation
  • Proficiency working in product development process

Education

BS degree in mechanical engineering orMA/MS degree with 1 to 3+ years work experience.

  • Time management to meet agreed upon commitments
