Job Description: Office Location: Houston, Texas, United States SCOPE/CONTACTS: The SBA Loan Operations Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of the Bank's Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan Operations. This role assists in all aspects of SBA loan origination, closing, funding, and servicing, as well as compliance to ensure a quality, profitable portfolio aligned with the Bank's financial and strategic objectives while maintaining full adherence to bank policy and SBA Standard Operating Procedures. Core responsibilities include evaluating loan opportunities, overseeing and participating in the closing and funding of each loan as well as servicing the SBA portfolio. This position requires strong credit expertise and extensive knowledge of the various SBA programs. The Loan Operations Manager plays a critical role in communicating with the SBA as it relates to portfolio management including ongoing performance data reporting and as well as responding to mandatory SBA risk and compliance reviews. This person will also take the lead on any communications and required documentation submissions related to SBA guarantee purchase requests. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
